Following on last month’s release of Clocktower Stock Ale, the second beer in the series is 613 Sour Ale, a 2.9% abv Berliner Weiss that is described as follows:
This beer is different from any other beer the Clocktower Brew House has produced. It is brewed to be an easy drinking, summer patio beer. To taste, our 613 Sour beer is dry with a tart finish, reminiscent of freshly squeezed lemonade. The tartness at the finish makes this beer extremely drinkable and a perfect choice on a hot summer day.
613 Sour Ale is on tap now at all five Clocktower locations, where it can be enjoyed on its own, or with the addition of raspberry or black currant syrup made with fruit from Rideau Pines Farm.
