PORT MOODY, BC – The small city of Port Moody in BC’s Metro Vancouver region is now home to the province’s newest craft brewery, with the recent opening of Yellow Dog Brewing.

Founded by the husband and wife team of Mike and Melinda Coghill and head brewer Liam Murphy (ex-Parallel 49), Yellow Dog had its first kegs tapped at local pubs The Burrard Public House and St. James’s Well last week, and opened its taproom and retail store on July 19th for samples and growler sales.

The brewery’s name and canine-themed brands are inspired by Chase, the yellow lab owned by the Coghills, and include Chase My Tail Pale Ale, Play Dead India Pale Ale and Take a Walk Wit.

For more details on Yellow Dog’s operating hours and beer availability, see the brewery’s Facebook page and Twitter feed.
