SASKATOON, SK – The always community-minded Prairie Sun Brewery has announced the release of a new ale brewed especially for the Dog Patch Music Festival, an eclectic and independent weekend festival that takes place annually in Whelan, Saskatchewan.

Dog Patch Pale Ale is briefly described as follows:

Cascade and Columbus hops have exploded into this delicious perfectly balanced American style Pale Ale. Crystal malts give a nice caramelly backbone to this complex brew.

Most of the limited edition Dog Patch Pale Ale will be served exclusively at the Festival, which is happening next weekend (August 15th to 17th) in Whelan. But two kegs have been held back and were tapped today (August 8th) at the Prairie Sun tasting room (2020 Quebec Ave., Saskatoon), where it will be available to sample while supplies last.
