PICTON, ON – Barley Days Brewery has announced the release of a new limited edition beer to raise awareness and funds for a project to establish a writer-in-residence program in the home of the late Canadian poet Al Purdy.
A Sensitive Man is a 3.5% and 25 IBU session ale named after a line from At The Quinte Hotel, one of Purdy’s best known poems, and also the source of the “Contains Fart & Horse Piss” warning on the label.
A Sensitive Man is available now at the Barley Days retail store, with $1 from each six-pack sold being donated to the Al Purdy A-Frame Association.
