OTTAWA, ON – Ottawa’s Clocktower Brew Pub chain has announced the release of the latest offering in its Summer Series of limited edition seasonal beers.
Following on June’s Clocktower Stock Ale, July’s 613 Sour Ale, and early August’s Ginger Beer, the latest release in the series is August Pale Ale (APA), which is described as follows:
The APA is bright orange in color with aromas of orange and tropical fruit that impart a fresh citrus finish. This is not a bitter beer as the citrus flavours make it quite refreshing and very easy drinking. The sweet malt in the body of the beer, brings balance to the APA making it a perfect pairing for fish or chicken, although it would not be out of place served with grilled sausage and sauerkraut.
