TORONTO, ON – Molson Coors Canada has announced the addition of a new and very traditional autumn brew to the Rickard’s line-up of rotating seasonal brands.
Rickard’s Lederhosen is a 6.5% abv and 39 IBU amber lager inspired by the traditional Märzen-style Oktoberfest beers of Germany. An all-malt beer brewed using three malt varieties and Chinook hops, it’s described as follows:
Inspired by the legendary beer halls of Germany, our brewers have crafted a strong Oktoberfest-style brew packed with plenty of oom-pah-pah. This dark amber lager has a smooth medium body and striking hoppy finish. It goes perfectly with your next plate of Schweinsbraten, German Bratwurst or a warm pretzel with mustard.
Rickard’s Lederhosen will be available in retail beer and liquor stores across Canada, with format and pricing varying by province. It will also be part of a new edition of the Rickard’s Taster Pack, where it will be featured alongside the core Rickard’s Red and Rickard’s Blonde brands.

What a ludicrous description.
i tried Rickard’s beer in a “Tasters” case. As I poured the Rickard’s White beer into a glass there were floaters throughout the beer! Turned me off and I poured them out!
Back to my old tried and true beer NOT from Molson!! They seem to lack quality control!!
