WATERLOO, ON – Brick Brewing has confirmed that the sale of its original brewing facility in Waterloo announced last month has completed, with HIP Developments paying $4 million for the historic property.
Under the terms of the deal, Brick will remain in the building on a short term basis while renovations and expansion of its Kitchener facility are underway.
Currently housing a bottling plant and warehousing space, the Kitchener location will undergo a $9 million transformation resulting in a fully integrated brewing, packaging and distribution facility that is expected to open in October 2015.
