BOWMANVILLE, ON – Ontario beer news website Mom & Hops reports that a beer from a new brewery is now on tap in select Durham Region bars, although it will be a few months until the brewery itself is open.
Manantler Craft Brewing is currently under construction at 182 Wellington St. in Bowmanville, with an aim to be up and running by early 2015. In the interim, the brewery’s first beer – the 6% abv Belgian-influenced The Pursuit of Abbeyness – is being brewed elsewhere under contract.
The Pursuit of Abbeyness is on tap now at Buster Rhino’s in Oshawa, and will be available later this week at The Stinking Rose in Campbellford. For more details, see the Manantler Facebook page.
