Black Swan Brewing Makes Debut in Stratford

STRATFORD, ON – An Ontario city best known as the home of one of the world’s top theatre festivals is now also home to one of the province’s newest small craft breweries.

Founded by local school teachers Bruce Pepper and Ryan Stokes, Stratford’s Black Swan Brewing made its official public debut late last week, when the first keg of Black Swan English Pale Ale was put on tap at Mercer Hall restaurant. An India Pale Ale and Porter are planned to follow soon.

  1. Sorry but looks like a drowning Dolphin and not a Swan at all, maybe a dying amphibian or a weird mammal changed by the Avon River water. Seriously what is that supposed to be? Someone needs help with a logo. Been waiting for this though as I heard about the venture, congrats and good luck Black Swan.
