GUELPH, ON – Wellington Brewery has announced the release today (November 14th) of a limited edition benefit beer that was developed and brewed by participants from the brewery’s Queen of Craft series of women-oriented beer events.
2014: A Spice Odyssey is a 7% abv Chai Latte Stout brewed using spices – including cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and cloves – donated by The Bollywood Bistro.
The beer will be available in a limited run of 750 ml bottles selling for $9.95 at the Wellington retail store, with $2 from each sale going to Guelph-Wellington Women In Crisis. A launch dinner for the beer will take place at the Bollywood Bistro this Sunday November 16th, with partial proceeds going to the same cause.
