VICTORIA, BC – Phillips Brewing has announced the addition of a new beer to its winter seasonal line-up, one described as being suited for the time of year when “the winter days get colder and the night sky grows longer.”
Polaris Milk Stout is a 5.5% abv sweet stout that has the following tasting notes:
Polaris Milk Stout is brewed with lactose, a sugar that is not fermented by beer yeast, which adds soft sweetness and extra body to the beer. Pouring velvety smooth with flavours of subtle coffee and cocoa, this rich roasted beer finishes with a hint of milk chocolate.
Polaris Milk Stout is available now in 650 ml bottles at select private liquor stores in British Columbia. It will also be on tap for free sampling during a drop-in event at the Phillips brewery this Thursday November 27th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM
