HALIFAX, NSPropeller Brewery has announced that the next installment in the Propeller Lambic Style Series is due to be released later this month.

The series is a collection of four beers inspired by the classic wild and sour ales of Belgium, all using the same base beer which is described as follows:

Propeller Lambic Style has been brewed in keeping with its origins using unmalted wheat and aged hops. We fermented this unique brew using yeast similar to that found indigenously in the Senne Valley of Belgium, southwest of Brussels. Aged in oak wine barrel, this brew displays tart, musty and complex flavours.

Following the series debut with a Frambroise edition released in August, the second release is a Blackberry version that will be unveiled on Saturday December 20th at Bar Stillwell in Halifax, where it will be available to enjoy by the bottle or glass starting at 12:00 noon.

Pre-orders for retail sales of the beer will also be taken at the launch event, with bottles available to pre-sale customers at Propeller’s Gottingen Street location on Sunday December 21st. Any remaining bottles will go on general retail sale at both Propeller locations on Monday December 22nd, and will be available while quantities last.

Two further editions in the series – Cherry and Unflavoured – are planned to follow in coming months.
