VANCOUVER, BC – Granville Island Brewing reports that Vern Lambourne is leaving his role as Brewmaster after 13 years with the company.
As he notes in his final blog post for the brewery, Lambourne is moving into a new career as an independent brewing consultant. He won’t be going away just yet, though, as his first consulting gig will keep him at GIB on a part-time basis to oversee the transition to Nick Posloski who is transferring over temporarily from sibling company Creemore Springs Brewery while a permanent replacement is being sought out.
No notable changes are expected in GIB line-up, as all core brands will continue to be available, and Posloski will keep things going with the Small Batch Series of limited and one-off beers.
