WINDSOR, ON – Food and drink website Windsor Eats reports that a brewery first announced almost a year ago is getting set to open later this month in the border city.
Craft Heads Brewing will be opening its doors on Friday February 27th at 89 University Ave. W. in downtown Windsor, and will initially be pouring beer from 9 of the 30 taps at the tasting bar, including “a Blonde, three different Porters, a Brown, an Imperial Coffee Stout, a Hefeweizen, a Two Headed IPA and a Cream Ale.”
In addition to beer from co-founders Steve Fabischek and Bryan Datoc, Craft Heads will also be offering gourmet coffee brewed by a third partner who recently joined the company.
Beer sales will initially be limited to glasses and samples for on-site consumption, but the partners hope to have a retail licence soon that will allow for take-home growler sales.
