FREDERICTON, NB – Picaroons Traditional Ales has announced the launch of a new series of beers designed by and named after its employees, with the first of them created by the brewery’s most veteran staffer and brewer.
Griff Pale Ale is a 4.8% abv “easy drinking ale” brewed by Ryan “Griff” Griffith that is “moderately hopped with Willamette hops (and just a little bit of Fuggles hops) giving it a nice and pleasant earthy tone.”
Griff Pale Ale is available now for growler fills at the Brewtique in downtown Fredericton, and will be on tap at the Lunar Rogue Pub tomorrow (February 26th) for a party marking its release.
Further installments in the Picaroons Staff Beer Series will follow soon, with all 30 employees of the company being encouraged by head brewer Myles Mackenzie and owner Sean Dunbar to “let the creative juices flow freely and to be as experimental as they would like.”
