GUELPH, ON – Wellington Brewery has announced details of the latest installment in the Welly One-Off Series of limited edition beers.
St. Joseph’s Wort Basil Coffee Porter is a 4.1% abv flavoured porter with the following notes:
This unique sessionable porter created by Welly brewer Mike Brooks is truly one-of-a-kind. This porter explores unique flavour combinations by blending fresh Ontario basil with Sidamo coffee roasted and cold-brewed by Ryan and Rufus at Planet Bean Coffee in Guelph. With a rich coffee aroma and a slightly sweet herbal basil note, this porter has a full-bodied mouthfeel with notes of dark chocolate and earthy coffee.
St. Joseph’s Wort will be released released tomorrow – Saturday February 28th – in a limited run of 750 ml bottles available exclusively at the Wellington retail store in Guelph.
