WHITEHORSE, YK – Yukon Brewing has announced details of two new installments in its Bomber Bottle Series of limited edition beers released in the 650 ml format.
Released on March 6th was Yer Gallus, a 5.5% abv Scottish Export Ale that has previously been available as a draught-only release at the brewery. Brewed with a touch of peated malt, it’s described as “malt forward, mahogany in colour, ever so creamy on the tongue, and finishes with a hint of smoke.”
Following on March 15th was the new Rapscallion’s Cousine, a 6.5% abv Roggenbock made with rye malt and “brewed in a similar manner to a traditional German hefeweizen, with hints of banana and clove.”
Both beers are available now in bombers at the Yukon Brewing retail store, and at liquor and beer stores throughout Alberta.
