VICTORIA, BC – Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub has announced details of the second release in a series of beers made using Red Fife, a classic Canadian heirloom wheat variety.
Spinnakers Dunkelweizen is a 4.5% abv dark wheat ale described as having “roasted malt flavours balanced with a typical Bavarian light hop profile and hints of spice and fruit emanating from the classic Bavarian weizen yeast strain.”
Dunkelweizen is available now on tap at the Spinnakers brewpub, and in bottles at Spinnakers Spirit Merchants and other select private liquor stores in the area.
