TORONTO, ON – Details have been announced for the 2015 edition of Brewers Plate Toronto, an annual charity event that brings together some of Ontario’s top chefs and craft brewers in a celebration of local and sustainable food and drink.

Taking place on Wednesday May 13th at the Corus Quay (25 Dockside Drive, Toronto), this year’s edition will once again benefit Friends of the Greenbelt Foundation, a charitable grant-making organization working to help keep farmers successful, strengthen local economies, and protect and grow natural features in Ontario’s Greenbelt.

Presented by sponsors Q107 and NOW Magazine, Brewers Plate 2015 will feature a rock’n’roll theme, with live music by The Worts, and attendees encouraged to wear their favourite concert or band t-shirt.

More than 20 breweries will be participating in this year’s event – including Amsterdam, Beau’s, Black Oak Brewing, Broadhead, Cameron’s, Great Lakes, HogsBack, MacKinnon, MacLean’s, Mill Street, Nickel Brook, Old Tomorrow, Sawdust City, Spearhead, Steam Whistle, Descendants, Junction Craft, Big Rig, Muskoka, Bell City and Underdogs – along with cider and wine options from Brickworks Cider, Shiny Apple Cider and Southbrook Vineyards.

Food pairings will be offered by some of Toronto’s top chefs, including Brad Long (Café Belong), Dan Sanders (Globe Bistro), Brooke Kavanagh (La Palette) and many more. See the Brewers Plate website for a full list.

Tickets for Brewers Plate 2015 are available now via the event website for $95 plus HST and service charges. The event typically sells out each year, so early purchase is recommended.
