PETIT-PAQUETVILLE, NB – A craft distillery in the Acadian region of New Brunswick has announced the release of its debut beer after months of delays.

As reported by Atlantic Canada Beer Blog, Distillerie Fils du Roi had planned to release Caraquet Flyer Eisbock back in December, but its release was delayed while the distillery awaited approval from the ANBL to sell beer as well as spirits.

Approval was finally granted last week, and the 8.5% abv eisbock which was produced using the ice distillation method traditional for the style is now available in a limited run of 750 ml corked bottles exclusively at the distillery retail store.
