WINDSOR, ON – Walkerville Brewery has announced that the first installment in a new series of barrel aged beers will be debuting later this week at the brewery.
The Walkerville Barrel Series will be kicking off with Barrel Aged Coffee Porter, a special edition of the Coffee Porter originally released by Walkerville as a holiday seasonal. The 8.1% abv strong porter is described as follows:
Aged to perfection in charred, single-use bourbon barrels, this lightly carbonated beer has been transformed. Adding unique sweet toffee and vanilla notes to its flavour, this porter sets up a subtle coffee and roasted oak note over a warm bourbon finish.
Walkerville Barrel Aged Coffee Porter will be launched on Friday (May 15th) with a release party at the brewery from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. It will be available in limited quantities in the brewery retail store, selling in 500 ml and 1 litre swing-top bottles while supplies last.
