VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All-Natural Brewing has announced the four beers that took the top spots in the recent Best of Beau’s voting competition, all of which will be featured in a mixed pack to be released later this year.
This year’s competition was structured in weekly head-to-head rounds, with the beers split into four brackets – Hopheads, Heavy Hitters, Traditionals, and Wild Cards – and the final winner of each bracket will be included in the package.
The winning beers were Screamin’ Beaver Oak Aged Double IPA (Hopheads division), Matt’s Sleepy Time Belgian Imperial Stout (Heavy Hitters division), Patio Sasion (Traditionals division) and Fous Alliés Mango Saison (Wild Cards division).
(Beau’s notes that the actual winner in the Traditionals division was And Boom Gose the Dynamite, but since that beer is already planned to be included in this year’s Oktoberfest pack, they elected to go with the runner-up Patio Saison in order to offer more variety.)
New batches of all four beers will be brewed in coming months, and the Best of Beau’s 2015 mixed pack will be released in November in time for the for the holiday season. It will be a limited run of packs containing four 600 ml bottles, and will available at select LCBO outlets throughout the province and the Beau’s retail store & delivery service, with an expected retail price of $26.
