HALIFAX, NS – This past weekend saw Garrison Brewing celebrating the recent opening of it’s expanded facility in the Halifax Seaport with a Backlot Bash concert and charity event, and the brewery also took the opportunity to reveal its new logo, the first step in a full rebranding initiative.
Designed by local creative agency Famous Folks, the new logo and packaging features “a simplified ‘noon gun’, a reaffirmation of core colours, and bold, block fonts to match the many influences in the busy Seaport district. It’s a nod to the past with a confident push forward.”
“Garrison is one of the strongest independent beer brands in Nova Scotia, and we’re big fans – not only of their branding but their beer too,” said Bruce Whelan, Famous Folks Creative Director, in a statement. “The chance to have a hand in updating the logo and packaging for such an iconic local company was an opportunity we couldn’t resist.”
