WINDSOR, ON – Walkerville Brewery has announced the launch of a new series of limited edition beers taken from the minds and recipe books of brewmaster Blayne Caron and his brewing team.
The Walkerville Brewers Series kicked off late last month with the release of Ampelmänn Dunkel, a dark wheat beer inspired by Caron’s time as a student at Berlin’s Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei.
With a name taken from the iconic East German pedestrian crossing symbol known as Ampelmännchen, Ampelmänn Dunkel is a 4.5% abv ale described as having “a banana-clove flavour […] supported by caramel malty sweetness”.
Ampelmänn Dunkel is available now at the Walkerville Brewery taproom and retail store while supplies last.
