FREDERICTON, NB – The Atlantic Canada Beer Blog reports that a pub in Fredericton is getting set to become the first establishment in New Brunswick to offer beer from every brewery in the province simultaneously.

The James Joyce Pub in the Crowne Plaza Hotel will be celebrating the New Brunswick Day long weekend with a special “18 Lines, 18 New Brunswick Breweries” promotion. From Friday July 31st at 3:00 PM until the kegs run dry, all 18 active breweries in the province will have a beer available on draught, including a number of new and exclusive beers.

Highlights will include:

  • S-55 Special Mission Dark Pale Ale, an exclusive beer from the recently opened Flying Boats Brewing that features a “rich blend of malted and caramel-based barleys” along with plenty of Cascade hops.
  • The Fredericton debut of a beer from Savoie’s Brewhouse, which opened in Charlo this past weekend.
  • La Gaboteuse, a collaborative Belgian IPA from Acadie-Broue and Big Tide.
