SURREY, BC – Russell Brewing has announced release details for the winner of the brewery’s 3rd annual Golden Stag Home Brewing Contest.
Hochiitsbier (The Wedding Beer) is a 5% abv German-style wheat beer that was developed by amateur – but soon to be professional – brewer Jochen Fahr to serve at his wedding to his wife Heather. In addition to winning the competition, the beer was a hit at the wedding, with two kegs being emptied during the cocktail reception.
Russell Hochiitsbier is available now in a limited run of corked and caged 750 ml bottles at select private liquor stores in British Columbia while supplies last.
