VANCOUVER, BC & VICTORIA, BC – The BC Craft Brewers Guild has announced the release of the third in a series of collaborative beers that the organization is coordinating and making available throughout the province.

Accelerated Transmission is a 5% abv and 25 IBU wet-hop pale ale co-created by Red Truck Beer of Vancouver and Category 12 Brewing of Victoria. It’s described as follows:

Accelerated Transmission is a farm-to-glass beer that celebrates everything about the hop from its farm fresh origins to its amazing flavour profiles to its greatest fans out there sharing this beer with friends. It has a light citrus, lemongrass and grassy hop aroma showcasing the fresh (wet) local Centennial, Cascade and Chinook hops that were sourced from the BC Hop Company. The beer has a subtle biscuity malt character that allows the hops to be the star.

Accelerated Transmission will be released in 650 ml bottles on Thursday October 1st – the first day of BC Craft Beer Month – and will be available at BC Liquor Stores throughout the province.

The fourth beer in the BC Craft Brewers Guild collaborative series will follow next spring.
