THUNDER BAY, ON – CBC News reports that a new brewery is getting set to open late this year in Thunder Bay.
Dawson Trail Craft Brewery is being launched by friends and fellow homebrewers George Renner and John Kivinen who have completed installation of a brewhouse at 905 Copper Crescent, and are intending to open in December with a few flagship brands as well as a rotation of seasonals.
The duo is awaiting approval from city council to open an on-site tasting room, and will be offering growlers for take-home sales.
