ST. THOMAS, ONRailway City Brewing has announced the launch of a new series of barrel-aged beers that will be available exclusively at the brewery retail store in extremely limited numbers.

First up in the series will be Barrel Reserve Belgian IPA, an 8.1% abv and 50 IBU ale described as follows:

This is a hybrid brew of a classic American India Pale Ale fermented with Belgian yeast and aged in a chardonnay barrel. Tastes of local Ontario hops and notes of tropical Australian hops meld seamlessly with the aromas of Belgian yeast. Sip this brew on its own or pair with a charcuterie board of cured meats and cheeses.

Barrel Reserve Belgian IPA will be limited to 215 bomber (650 ml) bottles which will be going on sale tomorrow (October 23rd) at 11:00 AM at the Railway City retail store in downtown St. Thomas.
