VANCOUVER, BC – Beer import agency Beerthirst has announced that Resignation Brewery – an off-shoot of entertainment and humour website theCHIVE – will soon have one of its brands available in British Columbia.
KCCO Gold Lager – named after the website’s “Keep Calm & Chive On” slogan – is a 5% abv and 16 IBU beer with the following description:
A clean and crisp lager with notes of honey and biscuit. The grain bill adds a beautiful gold hue and full flavor. The Gold Lager proves pilsner style lagers can be full flavored.
KCCO Gold Lager will be available in 6-packs at liquor stores throughout B.C., and the release will be celebrated with launch parties at four locations – O’Flannigan’s in Kelowna, The Roxy in Vancouver, Yates Street Taphouse in Victoria, and Garfinkel’s in Whistler – on November 28th.
$1 from each 6-pack sold, and all proceeds from the launch parties, will be donated to the The BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund that provides support and services to patients seen at the Burn, Trauma and Plastics Units at Vancouver General Hospital and BC Children’s Hospital.
