SURREY, BC – Russell Brewing has announced the release of two seasonal brands, one making its first appearance this year, and the other a returning favourite.
Newcomer Farm Fresh IPA is a 6.5% abv and 48 IBU fresh-hop beer with the following description:
This Northwest style IPA is full of vibrant aromas and flavours from fresh, local hops. Our friends over at Chilliwack Hop Farms harvested the Centennial, Cascade and Chinook hops and drove them straight to the brewery. The light malt characteristics act as the subdued backdrop to the star of the beer which is the farm fresh hops!
Back for a fourth year is Naughty & Spiced Porter, a 6.5% abv holiday ale described as follows:
Time to indulge in a rich winter porter! Spiked with seasonal spices like cinnamon, all-spice, ginger and nutmeg, then aged on oak and vanilla beans – the result is a balance of roasted malt and subtle pudding spices.
Both beers are available now in 650 ml bottles at select liquor stores in British Columbia (including Brewery Creek, the source of the photo accompanying this article).
