Out now for the winter season is Bock Me Gently, a strong lager with the following description:
This CopperBock – a strong, malty, copper-hued lager – comes in at a warming 7% ABV. Available in 473mL cans, it highlights the depth of this style while keeping it incredibly accessible. “It’s a classic style of beer that has deep historic roots,” says Lon Ladell, Big Rig Brewery’s brewmaster. “It’s perfect for the winter season – its rich maltiness combines with the Augustiner lager yeast we use, which creates a nice, clean finish.”
Bock Me Gently will be available for the next three months in cans at the Big Rig retail store and LCBO locations, and on tap at select bars and restaurants in Ontario.
Also starting this week is distribution of Big Rig’s two year-round brands – Gold Lagered Ale and Release the Hounds Black IPA – at select Beer Store locations in the Ottawa area. This comes on top of their availability at LCBO stores throughout the province.
