LANGFORD, BC – British Columbia’s craft-beer-crazy capital region on the southern tip of Vancouver Island has gained another brewery with the recent opening of Axe & Barrel Brewing in the city of Langford.
Launched by owner Ron P. Cheeke and brewer Dave Woodward, Axe & Barrel started pouring its beers at select pubs in the area in early autumn, and officially opened its taproom and growler bar on October 30th at 2323 Millstream Avenue, previously the Loghouse Pub.
Renovations on the restaurant portion of the space are underway, and it will be reopening as the Axe & Barrel Barbecue Brewhouse once the upgrades are complete.
