OTTAWA, ON – Dominion City Brewing has announced the upcoming release of a limited edition beer inspired by special beers offered by breweries in Denmark each December.
Dominion City Julebryg is a 5% abv spiced ale with the following description:
Every year around the first snowfall, breweries across Denmark release a special Julebryg (‘yule brew’) to pubs in small towns and big cities across the country. People gather with friends, family and total strangers to celebrate the season and raise a glass of something special.
Our Julebryg features malted rye spiciness balanced against Ontario-grown Wild Turkey hop bitterness. This beer features fresh plum with hints of ginger, cardamom, pink peppercorn and orange zest. In other words, it tastes like Christmas in a Hans Christian Andersen story. God Jul!
Dominion City Julebryg will be tapped at select pubs in Ottawa at 8:59pm this Friday December 4th, and a limited number of 750 ml bottles will go on sale at the brewery store on Saturday.
