WINNIPEG, MB – Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries has announced the establishment of a $5 million economic incentive loan program to support the growth and development of Manitoba’s craft brewing and distilling industries.
Loans of up to $250,000 will be available to put “towards the purchase of brewing or distilling equipment for producers just starting their businesses; or towards the expansion of existing production or sales capacity for brewers already in operation,” with repayments due over a five year period.
Applications for loans will be accepted starting in the late spring or early summer. More details are expected to be posted on the Manitoba Brew Hub when available.
