VANCOUVER, BC – Powell Street Craft Brewery has announced the return of beer that took the People’s Choice Award at the BC Beer Awards in 2013.
Whiskey Barrel Aged Porter is a 6% abv and 27 IBU ale described as follows:
This robust porter has been aged for the last six months in American whiskey barrels. Notes of cherry and vanilla enhance the subtle dark fruit and coffee flavours of this limited edition beer.
Whiskey Barrel Aged Porter is now available at the Powell Street tasting room and retail store, with a launch and tasting event taking place from 4:00 to 6:00 PM today. Bottles will be distributed to private liquor stores throughout the Lower Mainland this week.
