CALGARY, AB – Alberta Beer Festivals, the company behind several beer festivals and events in Alberta, has announced details of a series of contests to choose the style, name and label of the official beer for the 2016 editions of the Calgary International Beerfest and Edmonton Craft Beer Festival.

From now until February 7th, votes are being tallyed on the ABF website to select the style of the beer that will be brewed by the Olds College Brewery from one of five options: Stout, Red Ale, Porter, ESB and Cascadian Dark Ale. Entries for the winning style will be entered into a draw for prizes including Festival passes, a white water rafting trip and more.

Once the style has been chosen, two further contests will be held to select the name (February 8th to 16th) and design a label (February 16th to March 4th) for the beer.

For more details, see the contest entry page on the ABF website.
