HALIFAX, NS – Garrison Brewing has announced the release of the second in its Garrison Cellar Series, a new label for its strong seasonal beers that are ideal for aging.
Following on last week’s release of the newest vintage of Ol’ Fog Burner Barley Wine to kick off the series, the new instalment is this year’s edition of Grand Baltic Porter, a 9% abv dark lager brewed with molasses and brown sugar, and described as follows:
Coffee-black in colour. Aroma of molasses, nuts and caramel. A complex blend of dark malts, molasses & dried fruits (dates & prunes) create a rich, malty sweetness dominated by licorice and caramel notes.
Grand Baltic Porter is available now in 500 ml bottles at the Garrison brewery store while supplies last.
