VANCOUVER, BC – Bomber Brewing has announced the release of new strong stout in a packaging format not often used for the style.
Bomber Russian Imperial Stout is a 9.5% abv and 62 IBU stout with the following description:
Originally brewed to impress Czars, Russian Imperial Stouts needed to be high in alcohol to prevent freezing on the long journey to the Russian courts. Brewed with 14 different malts to create a complex, deceptively drinkable, giant of a beer, Bomber RIS is packaged in 473 ml cans making it the most portable of Russian Imperial Stouts. Trip to the old country not necessary.
As noted above, Bomber RIS is available in 473 ml tall cans instead of bottles, and it is on sale now at the Bomber retail store and other select locations.
