SURREY, BCCentral City Brewers + Distillers is getting ready for the warmer weather with the upcoming release of two new radlers.

Red Racer Radler (3.5% abv) and Hopping Mad Cider Radler (4.2% abv) are set to hit shelves soon, and are described as follows:

Red Racer Radler is created in the German tradition of mixing beer and juice for refreshing drink designed for cyclists. Using a light blonde ale as a beer base, it’s balanced with ruby red grapefruit juice and lemon juice. The result is a blend of refreshing malt flavour with a balance of grapefruit notes and slight acidity.

Hopping Mad Cider Radler is a completely new style, the first ever Cider Radler released in Canada, using an off-dry premium apple cider and grapefruit juice to give a balance of tart and sweet notes, and a gluten free twist that’s perfect for summer.

Both radlers will be launched next Wednesday March 23th at the Tap & Barrel (Vancouver Convention Centre location) with an event running from 6:30 PM until closing.

473 ml cans of the two radlers will be available at liquor stores in British Columbia and Alberta in late March, and Hopping Mad Cider Radler will be available at LCBO outlets in Ontario starting in April.
