VANCOUVER, BC – Fellow East Vancouver breweries Bomber Brewing and Doan’s Craft Brewing have announced the release of a new collaborative beer inspired by the shared backgrounds of the brewers at both companies.
Living Skies Rye Pilsner is a 5.5% abv lager with the following description:
It might have to do with Mike and Evan Doan and Bomber head brewer, Blair Calibaba, all being from Saskatchewan, but they feel like they’ve known each other for years. As homage to their shared homestead, they brewed a snapshot of that history for the West Coast. Prairie-grown barley and rye malts, German-bred Perle and Saphir hops meld into a grainy and floral beer that was clearly brewed by the most kindred of spirits.
Living Skies Rye Pilsner is available now in 650 ml bottles and on tap in the Bomber and Doan’s taprooms while supplies last.
