CAMBRIDGE, ON – A new brewery is getting set to open and launch retail sales this weekend in Ontario’s Waterloo Region.
Founded by homebrewers Matt Macdonald and Jeremy Skorochid, Barncat Artisan Ales is a 5 barrel brewery located in a 2,400 square foot industrial space in Cambridge.
The debut Barncat beer will be Act One APA – a 5.6% abv “hoppy pale ale with Columbus and Azacca hops” – that will be available for growler fills at the brewery (1600 Industrial Road, Unit B5) on Friday April 1st from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, and Saturday April 2nd from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM.
Retail sales are planned to take place every weekend for the time being, with days/hours fluctuating based on beer availability. Longer and more stable hours of operation are planned to start in late summer or early fall once production has increased.
