BRACEBRIDGE, ONMuskoka Brewery has announced that it will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this summer with two new summer seasonal brands.

Oak-Aged Cream Ale is a “re-interpretation” of Muskoka Cream Ale, the first beer produced by the brewery in 1996 and still part of the core line-up. The 5% abv ale is described having “the same crisp, easy-drinking nature of the original, flagship beer, but with subtle hints of oak and vanilla to highlight the sweet malt and floral, citrus notes.”

Kirby’s Kölsch – which made a preview appearance this spring in the latest edition of the Muskoka Survival Sampler Pack – is a 4.6% abv peach-flavoured ale named after the nickname of the brewery’s late co-founder Kirk Evans. It’s described as “a clean, crisp and thirst-quenching lagered ale, lightly hopped with Australian Galaxy hops and soft touches of fruit.”

Both beers are rolling out now, and will be available at LCBO outlets, select grocery stores, and the Muskoka Brewery tap room and retail store throughout the summer months.
