NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, ON – Niagara Oast House Brewers has announced the release of the first in a new International Collaboration Series of beers.
Co-created with Jopen Bier from Haarlem, The Netherlands, the aptly named Haarlem Globetrotter is a koyt bier – a traditional Dutch variation on the unhopped gruit style of beer – that was brewed using Oast’s house saison yeast, sweet gale & spruce tips.
Haarlem Globetrotter will make its debut this weekend at the Session Toronto beer festival, followed by a wider launch on Wednesday June 15th at Wvrst (609 King St. W., Toronto), where several other Jopen brands are available by the bottle. It will be available on tap at select beer bars in the Niagara and Toronto regions while supplies last.
