VICTORIA, BC – Vancouver Island Brewery has announced the launch of a new summer seasonal brand.
Killer White IPA is described as follows:
Killer White IPA is a fragrant and bitter wheat ale. This slightly cloudy IPA is kettle-hopped with Centennial and Ahtanum for a bitter, hoppy edge. It’s dry-hopped with Galaxy to create aromas of passion-fruit; fermenting with a hefe yeast imparts traditional banana and clove notes. The flavour is fresh and citrusy, the mouthfeel smooth and lively. This white has some bite to it!
Killer White IPA will make it’s debut on draught during a launch party at the brewery today (June 29th) starting at 4:00 PM, with bottles to follow next week.
