WINNIPEG, MB – More than a year after planning began, and two months after offering a preview taste at the Flatlanders Beer Festival, Torque Brewing has announced that its beers are now officially available.
Founded by five partners including John Heim, Phil Bernardin, Adam Olson, Gilles Pinette, and Matt Wolff (the latter being the former brewmaster at Fort Garry Brewing), Torque has entered the market with three core brands: Red Line Red IPA, Diesel Fitter Stout and Witty Belgian Wheat Beer.
Torque beers are currently available on tap at select licensees in Winnipeg, and the growler station at The Quality Inn Beer Store. 473 ml cans will soon follow at Liquor Mart locations, and the brewery’s taproom and retail store is expected to open next month.
