GRAVENHURST, ON – Sawdust City Brewing has announced that the official beer of its annual Oktoberfest celebration will be returning for this year’s event, and will also be available more widely for the first time.
Sägemehl Stadt is a German-style festbier described as follows:
Brewed once a year for our Sawdust City Oktoberfest celebration, this award winning lager is slightly malt forward with a wonderful balancing hop bitterness. At 5.3% ABV, it’s the perfect beer to accompany this annual fall celebration. Brewed exclusively with German malts and hops and fermented with a German lager yeast, we try to bring you as close to Munich as possible, without ever leaving the province!
Sägemehl Stadt will be on tap at the Sawdust City Oktoberfest, taking place September 30th and October 1st at the Gravenhurst Curling Club. It will also be released in a limited run of 473 ml cans, available soon at select LCBO locations while supplies last.
