Dageraad Brewing Releases Wet Hopped Blonde & Lake City Farmhouse

BURNABY, BC – Belgian-inspired brewery Dageraad Brewing has announced the release of two limited edition beers for autumn.

Wet Hopped Blonde is a variation on the brewery’s flagship Blonde ale with the addition of locally grown fresh Centennial hops. Two batches of hops were harvested several weeks apart, inspiring Dageraad to make two batches of the beer:

The first harvest offers wonderful floral, grassy, herbaceous notes that complement the fruitiness of Blonde nicely. After spending two weeks in warm storage and one week in the fridge, the bottle conditioning process locked in the aromatic goodness perfectly. It’ll be a unique experience as soon as you put the glass to your nose. We expect the second batch to be a completely different experience with loads of juicy fruits.

Lake City Farmhouse is a rustic saison that had draught-only run earlier this year, and proved popular enough to be brought back in bottles. It’s described as being “gently spiced and partially sour-mashed for complexity and a refreshing tartness.”

Both beers are available now at the Dageraad retail store and select private liquor stores in BC while supplies last.
