NEW WESTMINSTER, BC – Steel & Oak Brewing has announced the release of the first in a new series of limited edition single batch beers.
Kaffee is a 5.1% abv and 17 IBU blonde ale infused with coffee from Timbertrain Coffee Roasters. It has the following tasting notes:
Locally roasted coffee, sourced from small holder farmers in Ethiopia’s Yirgacheffe Beriti region, provides a rich yet delicate floral aroma with notes of citrus fruits, lime peel and bergamot while the German malt base provides a subtle biscuit flavour and crisp finish.
Kaffee is available starting today (November 24th) at the Steel & Oak taproom and retail store, and a limited number of 650 ml bottles will be on sale next week at select local liquor stores.
