VICTORIA, BC – Category 12 Brewing has announced details of the second in a series of limited edition beers that are being released thanks to the contributions to last year’s Barrelholder Program crowdfunding campaign.
Barrelholder Anomaly is described as follows:
Anomaly is a delicious deviation from the norm, yet reminiscent of a Belgian Quadrupel. Aged in American Oak bourbon barrels for 10 months, an assertive bourbon character is tempered by notes of dark fruit, sweet vanilla, and coffee. Hints of candied sugar and clove peek through toasted malts in this lovingly blended barrelholder release.
Some bottles of Anomaly have been reserved for Barrelholder contributors, with the remainder being released today (November 30th) at the Category 12 retail shop. It will also be available soon at select private liquor stores throughout BC.
